Outdoor Facilities

When the sun shines get outdoors; there’s so much to see and do.

Set in seven acres of gardens, there’s more than enough room to chill with a glass of something cold, among the azaelea, hydreangea and roses, while enjoying sun-sparkling views across Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia beyond.

If you’re feeling more active then our Spacious Grounds and huge lawn can transform into: -
'The Oval' – for an afternoon game of cricket
'The Olympic Stadium' - for the energetic decathlon
'The Place de L'hotel de Ville' - for a relaxing game of boules
'The Madison Square Gardens' - for Rounders/Baseball
'Wimbledon Croquet Club' - for Croquet

Our fabulous tennis court with a sea view is too good to miss, and the nearby enclosed seating area is ideal for Pimms and strawberries. Later, at the end of a busy day what can be more fun than a BBQ in the garden, watching the sun sink below the horizon.

We provide the equipment, you provide the bodies!

If golf is your passion then the 16th hole is directly behind Mynydd Ednyfed, waymarked footpaths run through the grounds and fishing lakes are just a short walk away; we guarantee that you’ll never be bored.

Don’t forget to visit our friendly ponies and hens.

If additional accommodation is required then we also have No. 29 and No. 31 The Old Castle Bakery (opposite Criccieth Castle). Both appartments sleep 4 persons (8 in total). These can be viewed via the Menai Holidays website.

With so much to do there’s never a dull moment at Mynydd Ednyfed!
