Comments from some of our wedding couples

We had our wedding here in December and could not have wished for a better venue. Maureen was great and helped us throughout the whole process. We had a few requests and made a few changes on the day, which Maureen took in her stride and made the day run smoothly. We really felt that the wedding was ours.

The setting is perfect for photographs inside and out. Maureen suggested a local photographer and we weren’t disappointed. We hardly knew that the photographer was even there and now have amazing pictures of the whole day to treasure for years to come.

We hired the venue for a week following the wedding for all the guests. This made us all a lot more relaxed. The entire place was immaculate, with attention to detail taken very seriously. The food was out of this world with consistently high quality meals throughout the week; all of our guests could not praise the chef enough.

On our wedding day we hardly noticed the Staff. They were always on hand when needed, but inconspicuous at the same time, and were well trained, polite and friendly.

We would highly recommend the venue not just for weddings but other special occasions and we will definitely be returning in the future.

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to you and your team for all your help in making our Wedding absolutely perfect! Everything from the beautiful venue itself to the gorgeous food that you made us all and the games area for the boys, helped to make our entire week-end, one which was enjoyed by all.
We couldn't be more appreciative to you for making it so very personal to us, we had our perfect wedding, and so for that we will be eternally grateful.
Everyone couldn't have been more complimentary about Mynydd Ednyfed
All our love,"

Paul and Hayley, Manchester,

"We had our wedding here in May; a really beautiful place. All our guests on the day commented on the high standard of food, with a few even saying it was the best wedding meal they had ever experienced. Our room was very well appointed, comfortable and quiet and Maureen, the owner, made sure everything went really smoothly and was very helpful. We would definitely consider going back there with a large party for a stay. Thank you Mynydd Ednyfed !"

Adam, Oswestry,

"We have just spent an amazing very long weekend at this beautiful house, we chose Mynydd Ednyfed last year as our perfect venue to get married because not only is this a beautiful place but also Maureen and Arwel are the loveliest couple!

We had the whole house to ourselves and guests from Wednesday to Monday. Maureen and Arwel catered for us on Thursday for a family birthday BBQ, which was delicious and then organised and executed our beautiful wedding. The food choices we had made for the wedding breakfast were our favourite foods and we weren't disappointed... The amount of comments about how good the food was testament to them!

The attention to detail alongside a very relaxed atmosphere was everything we wanted for our special day. We were blessed with the weather and the grounds were perfect for some summer cricket & rounders!

If you’re considering a break with family & friends or a wedding venue then this place should definitely be visited! It's not mainstream or owned by a hotel chain, which is unusual nowadays, but offers far more than any Hilton or McDonald chain... that personal touch that is hard to find!

Thank you to Maureen & Arwel you really made our wedding weekend everything we imagined it to be and more xx"

Rob and Michelle, Leicester,

With so much to do there’s never a dull moment at Mynydd Ednyfed!
